In April, the Dodge brand announced a new leader. His name is Tim Kuniskis, and he has a lot of familiarity with Dodge, having been in the Chrysler Group family for a long time now. He's now responsible for planning out the future for a brand we know and love in La Porte, IN, and recently, he shed some light on his transition in an interview with WardsAuto, and what's in store down the road.
Kuniskis helped lead the charge to get FIAT transitioned in to the Chrysler umbrella and launched in the United States, and did so with great success. Now he has to tackle a well-established automaker in Dodge, and see where it goes.
One area that seems to intrigue Kuniskis is performance. Of course, there's plenty of that in the new Dodge lineup. With models like the Challenger and Charger, you get plenty of power and thrills. On top of that, Kuniskis even says there is the potential of an entirely new model coming to the lineup, while also stating that the 2014 Durango is going to wow a lot of people.
